If ever you find yourself in need of auricular attire that is both visually and aromatically pleasing, not to mention good for the taste buds and soft to the touch, take a cue from the lovely Amanda and pick a leaf of fresh basil to thread on some yarn and needle through your lobes with nimble fingers. I didn't have a chance to ask more about her technique, but you can try to track her down at the Blossom Bluff Orchards stand at the S.F. Ferry Plaza farmers' market.
